Southeast Rail Extension Project (SERE)

The Southeast Rail Extension project extended 2.3 miles of light rail from Lincoln Blvd to RidgeGate Pkwy. Charles won the project and managed the 220,000 square feet of concrete walls and bridges that required abrasive blasting and application of a concrete stain. The project included two bridges (one for light rail and one for vehicle traffic) that spanned over busy Interstate 25 highway.  Charles arranged for traffic lane closures, so the blasting and coating operations could be completed at night, without having to close the highway, all while protecting the traveling public from the powerful abrasive blaster and overspray.

Safety: No injuries
